Live in daytight compartments, prioritizing me tomorrow over me today
  • Consistently follow my daily routines to stay sharp and fight off the wolf
  • Manage my shortcomings but don't let them define me—quietly pay them their dues and succeed in spite of them
  • Use my shortcomings as a humbling reminder to be kind to other travelers - you don't know anyone's story
Pursue outrageously big goals with discipline, incremental compounding progress, and epistemic honesty
  • Goals should be viscerally game-changing if achieved; seem impossibly big but are logically possible.
  • Laws of Attraction: let go of self-doubt and have unwavering confidence and belief you will achieve your goals, with time.
  • Discipline, not motivation. Progress compounds: make a little progress every day. Don't look for shortcuts; do the hard work; get the reps in. Consistency > intensity.
  • Humility with confidence, not ego and arrogance.Replace the mindset of a superstar with being humbly imperfect and hard-working toward your goals.
